Ragnar Corporate Challenge—Is Your Team The Fastest In Tampa Bay?
AgileThought challenges Tampa Bay companies in 2016 Florida Keys Ragnar Relay race.
TAMPA, FL – AgileThought is challenging any daring company in the Bay area to next year’s Florida Keys Ragnar Relay. The fastest team will be awarded a trophy and earn some serious bragging rights in Tampa Bay.
Ragnar relay is a 200 mile race from Miami to Key West, and encourages both runners and non-runners to take on the challenge. Teams of 12 pile into two vans and tag-team run from Miami to Key West over a period of two days. Only one team member runs at a time, with a total of three legs per runner. The legs can vary from 3-8 miles, so experienced and novice runners alike are able to overcome a challenge. Not only is this a serious physical and mental challenge, but it’s also great team building experience, as you’ll get to know your teammates on a more personal level and improve your overall team dynamic.
To register, first visit AgileThought’s Ragnar Corporate Challenge webpage and sign up for their competition. Then, once Ragnar has released the registration dates (coming soon), sign your team up through the official Ragnar registration site. Registration fills up fast, so be prepared.

AgileThought Named As Finalist For “Best Places To Work” Award
The Tampa Bay Business Journal Recognizes AgileThought In Bigger Category
TAMPA, FL (March) – Once again, AgileThought, LLC, a national provider of mobile and custom software solutions, has been nominated for Best Place to Work in the “Bigger” Category by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. AgileThought has been nominated and won Best Place to Work multiple times in recent years and hopes to continue this trend. A total of 15 companies are in the running for Best Places to Work in the “Bigger” Category. The winner is chosen through an employee-based regional survey sponsored by the Tampa Bay Business Journal that measures employee satisfaction through the categories of team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on April 23 at Topgolf in Brandon, Fla..
The “Bigger” category is for Tampa based companies with 50-99 employees. Surveys were sent out to the employees of each company in order to determine the finalists for each category. Each response from each completed survey is compiled and evaluated in order to determine the finalists and overall winners. The nominated companies are then chosen according to their composite scores.
CEO David Romine shared congratulations with the AgileThought team and said, “It's the most important award we can win, given our mission and values!” Regarding the company culture, he commented that AgileThought enjoys having an open and collaborative environment, and it does not have a published organizational chart because they prefer open and direct communication in order to minimize layers of management. “Our teams are extremely talented, yet humble, software professionals who thrive on working in a company environment that supports their efforts to hone their craft of software development.”
Jeff Alagood, COO commented that the ninth floor waterfront office is the backdrop for a collaborative and innovative team environment. “We all love what we do, and we strive to make sure every voice is heard. We have a very open office where each member can easily connect with leadership or each other to discuss ideas, concepts and future plans. We also have specific team project areas set up to maximize communication during a project. This focus on open communication really does create a great working environment which leads to better solutions for our clients.”
According to Romine, this year AgileThought plans to add approximately 20 employees to their current team of 120. He stated, “The company continues to refine its professional development guidelines to create the roles that the employees and company envision.” He believes if you find great people and give them the respect and environment to follow their passion the organization will benefit as it grows.
